Hello, this is Grand Master Ted Gambordella, and I'm going to show you some basic dumbbell exercises that you can use to build your body and get your strength for martial arts. So let's just start off here we're doing bicep, we're just doing a straight up bicep curl here. We'll just do it straight up with our left and our right, up and down, real simple technique. Now you can take it and turn it over and bring it across, take it and turn it over and bring it across, take it, turn it over and bring it across. Now you can take them and put them sideways and curl them up. Now we're going to do shoulder. So we can take it and throw it out here, bring them up and out and up and out and up and out and up and out. Now we're going to bring them back, pull them up and back. And you want to do this until you are exhausted. Then you want to do straight lifts, where you are lifting straight to the left, straight to the right, then you can do them together here. Make sure you breathe when you do it. Now you can bring them in and you're going to do straight pushes, shoulder presses. This is Grand Master Ted Gambordella, and you just learned some exercises for building your body for martial arts and for strength.
