Hi, I'm Chef Mariko. Today, I'm going to show you how to make an easy cherry cobbler. To get started heat your oven to 350 degrees. Then you want to get 3 cups of cherries, these are pitted fresh cherries or you could use some canned cherries instead. Then to your cherries you want to add a quarter teaspoon of cinnamon and a third of cup of sugar, stir everything together until mixed, then add to a 9 inch round baking dish. Now I'm going to set my cherries aside and make the cobbler topping. In a bowl you want to add one cup of flour, a cup if brown sugar, a cup of rolled oats, a pinch of salt and a half a cup of melted butter, that's a stick. You want to mix everything together until it forms a crumbly and sandy texture. And this is the topping for a basic cobbler, but you can get creative if you want by adding nuts or coconut or different spices. Alright now I'm just going to add it to the top of my cherry mixture. Now just spread it over the cherries until it reaches the sides. Now it's ready to bake in my 350 degree oven for about 40 minutes.
