Hello, this is Sway Fit with Sway Fitt with two That's, and I'm here with figure competitor, Penny Reinhardt, who will be demonstrating some bicep exercises on the elliptical. The question I get is can you strengthen your biceps on the elliptical. I say you can if you use resistance. So I'll be having her demonstrate by bumping up the resistance with her hands in a neutral position, strengthening the biceps. Otherwise if I take the tension down, it's going to become cardiovascular and she's just going to be toning. Okay Penny go ahead and put that on level one and then warm up here and this is our cardiovascular which will be toning. That looks good. And Penny I'm going to gradually bump up the tension okay? Okay. Because we want to add some resistance to strengthen the biceps here. So I'm going to bump this up right there. You feel that? Okay, good. Let's give it a little bit more, work that out there, good, good and see how she is doing with one arm? Now she's pulling against some resistance, just for some extra power there, that should be real heavy there. And that concludes our segment on does the elliptical strengthen biceps.
