Hello, this is Dr. Stacy Mobley. I'm a naturopathic physician, and I blend the best of mainstream and natural therapies to help you transform your health, re-energize your life and renew your mind. Today we're talking about several natural ways to eliminate liver spots. First consult your doctor about any abnormal skin discolorations or growths to rule out skin cancer. The first natural remedy is to use a little bit of fresh lemon juice and apply it to the liver spot. Do this about twice a day over the course of a week and you'll start to notice a breakdown in the melanin due to, or the discoloration due to the enzymatic activity of the lemon. The second would be to make sure you keep a diet high in antioxidants and green vegetables just to keep the skin rejuvenating or replenishing itself throughout the months and days, that would be to protect yourself against excessive sunlight. Three ways to protect yourself against the sunlight would be to use sunscreen specifically SPF 15 through 30, unless you are in hotter climates such as Arizona, you may need to use a little bit higher SPF but in general, 15 to 30 is a good range because you want to make sure that your body is still able to convert Vitamin D. The second would be to wear clothing that will cover the sensitive areas such as your forearms and your neck area and also to wear a hat. The third would be to make sure that you are not out in the sun between the time frames of 10 a.m to 4 p.m. because this is when the UV light is at its highest peak. I'm Dr. Stacy Mobley. I take pride in treating the whole person and making sure your treatment options are right for you. Visit my website to learn more about me and my practice at Dr. spelled
