Hi, everyone. My name is Joi, and I'm a makeup artist in New York, and I want to show you all today how to make a homemade gel eyeliner. So to do that I'm going to be using and eye shadow, an angled brush that we usually use for applying our brow powder. And I'm going to be using a little bit of my finishing mist. So to start off to give it the gel-like consistency you're going to need something that is liquid. So you want to squirt your brush. You want to make sure that you don't have too much on there, just kind of shake it off a little bit. And then you pick the eye shadow of your choice and you dab it a little bit just to get the color on the tip. And you want to take it flat just as if you were applying a regular gel liner and draw it in towards the center of the eye. It may be just a bit thin since it is not actually gel. If that happens you can actually go in and just add a bit more until it gets to the color that you like. And I'm just tapping it over the first line. You can continue it on until the intensity is where you like it. And when this dries it will stay put just as a gel liner would and even better because it is a powder. So there you go, a quick remedy for a gel eyeliner at home. Thank you all for watching and my name is Joi.
