Hi, I'm Erin Hendley Professional Makeup Artist, and today I'm gonna give you an idea of the careers that are possible through makeup and hairstyling in the bridal industry. There is really 4 different things that you can do if you want to work in the hairstyling and makeup bridal industry. The first one is you could be an in-house artist for any bridal store. So that means that if you go into a dress shop or things of that nature they might have an in-house section where the hair and makeup artists work together to create a look when women try on their dresses. So it's really a collaborative effort and it's 1 unit. The second thing is you can work at a hair and makeup studio, this is almost the same thing as a salon except there's not the nails, the nail parlors or any of the masseuse in there, it's strictly just hair and makeup. So it's really just working one-on-one with each other in a collaborative process and it's a little less hectic. The third thing of course is the salon where you have the whole shebang but you don't have the option of the intimacy. So that's another thing and then the last thing is you can be a freelancer which is you make your own rules, you find your own clients, and you book your own areas. You pretty much just dictate who you're gonna work for and how you're gonna do it also your price range which is nice at times as well so those are just a little bit of the options that you have to choose from. I'm Erin Hendley, and I just told you a little bit about the career options in the hair and makeup bridal industry.
