Hello. My name is Joi, freelance makeup artist in New York, and today I want to answer the question, what can I do to make my makeup stay on me and not on my clothes? So for today's demonstration, I have my powder and powder brush here and then I'm going to also show you how to use a finishing or setting spray. So what you want to do after you have applied your foundation, your blush and all of you other makeup is you want to make sure that you set it with a powder. One thing that will definitely start the process of making sure that the makeup is sticking to your face and not everything else, is to set any cream makeup with a powder. So of course you just want to lightly just press that into the skin. And this would be a translucent or a finishing powder or anything light, you can go over your blush with it just very lightly. If you have a blush that's fluffy, you know, if you're worried about smearing your blush you can use a fluffy brush as well. And then one of the most important steps is to follow up with a makeup setting spray. So with this what you're going to do, I'll have you close your eyes, I'm going to spritz you. Is you want to hold it several inches away from your face and lightly just mist, you don't want to hold it too close because you don't want to make the makeup too damp. And this will actually make sure that it sort of sets in so that you don't have any messy makeup mishaps later. So thank you all for watching, and again, I'm Joi. Bye.
