Hey, guys. It's Faith Dey. I'm at Princeton Club West in Madison, Wisconsin, and we're talking about leg raises while sitting at your desk. Now it depends on why you are doing these leg raises. Are you doing them to tone your abdominals or are you doing them to tone your thighs, your quads, the front of your thighs? Two different things, two different exercises. So I'll show you the first way when you are sitting at your desk and if you are just lifting your knees and lifting your feet off of the floor, you're engaging your abdominals and your hip flexors for a little more of a core exercise. So you want to keep everything still while the legs move. Now if you're doing something for your quads, just for a little bit of a toning effect, keep the leg off the floor, and then extend the leg straight bending the knee, extending the leg and then bending it back in.
