Hi, I'm Tali Gallo, director of Solutions Bridal in Orlando, Florida. I'm here to give advice on whether you should wear a crinoline underneath your wedding dress or not. If your dress if folding into itself, then you need crinoline. Also if your dress is too long, you don't want to pay for a hem, then see if adding crinoline raises the skirt. If the dress is laying right and there's built in crinoline provided by the dress designer, then there's no need to add a crinoline. Most good quality dresses will include crinoline if it fits with the design concept of the dress. If you decide that you want extra poof, have a crinoline sewn in by a seamstress. Try not to use a drawstring crinoline because then it will show at your waistline. Also I wouldn't want you to lose it halfway down the aisle causing you to trip. If your seamstress doesn't want to sew in your crinoline, then consider finding another seamstress. There's no reason to not have it sewn in. If you have a drawstring crinoline already, have the seamstress remove the string and lining to it. If the fabric on your dress looks like it's being pulled, then chances are you have too much crinoline. I would suggest having one layer at a time until the dress is laying just how you like it. Thanks for watching. I'm Tali here at Solutions Bridal in Orlando reminding you to stay stylish.
