Hi, I'm Tali Gallo, director of Solutions Bridal in Orlando, Florida, here to share advice for best wedding dress style for someone under five feet tall. When you're wedding dress shopping, make sure to try on three main silhouettes to determine what feels the most comfortable to you. Those three silhouettes are ball gown, A-line and mermaid. Try to stand at least four feet away from the mirror so you can get an idea of what that dress looks like on you from head to toe. Trust your bridal stylist to give you suggestions and advice on what they think looks best on you. After all, that is their job. For the more petite bride, A-line and mermaid cut tend to be the best. They really elongate the figure and can provide a more lean look. Ball gowns can tend to cut people in half making them look shorter than they are. An empire waistline, such as this, can give the effect of a longer leg. Also, princess seams, such as this, draw the eye up and down, creating an illusion of length as well. If you fall in love with a dress that maybe isn't the right cut for your height, that's okay. Just try out a heel like these Paradox Linden shoes I'm obsessing over. Thanks for watching, I'm Tali, here at Solutions Bridal in Orlando, reminding you to stay stylish.
