Hello, my name is Bryan Beal. I'm a personal trainer, and today I will be covering exercising the triceps without the wrist. A great exercise for this is the overhead triceps extension. This can be performed seated or standing. If standing, place your feet shoulder width apart and keep your back straight. If you have lower back issues place one foot 12 inches in front of the other and keep your weight evenly dispersed between your feet. If sitting, keep your back straight, don't allow any rounding or arching. To perform the exercise lift the dumbbell above your head with both hands with your palms facing upwards. Bending at the elbows only, lower the weight behind your head without touching your back or your head. To complete the exercise extend your arms straight only bending at the elbows again. That is how you perform exercises for the triceps without using the wrists
