My name is Bryan Beal, I'm a personal trainer, and today I'll be discussing exercises for the exertion of the legs. The first exercise, is the squat. This is done with moderate to heavy weight placed on a barbell. You'll perform this by placing the barbell on your shoulders, standing with your feet shoulder width apart. And lowering your hips until your knees and your thighs are parallel to the ground. You will drive up and repeat the repetition. The second exercise, is the leg extension. This is done on a machine by placing your shins behind a pad, driving your feet up and forward, until your legs are straight. And then, relaxing your knees, down into the 90 degree bend position. The third exercise, is the leg curl. This is done on a leg curl machine, by laying on your stomach, placing your Achilles up against the pad. And kicking your heels back and up into the sky. Relax your legs, lowering your feet slowly, down. And that is how you perform exercises for exertion of the legs.
