Hi, I'm Erin Hendley, professional makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you a home remedy to remove makeup from your pores. So it's important that we have a clean face. So we don't have actually makeup on our surface of our skin but sometimes the makeup does seep down into our pores which causes them to clog. So if you don't want to spend a lot of money on important skin care services or products. We can just use something lying around the house. And I hope you have toothpaste because that's what we are going to use. So we are just going to target the areas that normally have large pores which would be the nose. And then a little bit on the T zone. So we are just going to target right here. You can go in with your fingers or use a Q-tip, it's up to you. And again this is always best to apply once you wash your face with warm water so your pores are open. You don't need a thick layer, it's really just thin. And I know a lot of people use this to minimize redness for pimples too. So toothpaste really has a lot of fantastic uses. The main ingredients waken up the skin, open up the pores. And just kind of work down the surface to vacuum out any of the debris that we have in our pores. So know that we've applied it it's great to actually let it sit for five to ten minutes. And you'll also the color kind of disappear. But five to ten minutes is probably the best amount of time to let it sit. And then once we've let it sit that long we are going to take water and just rinse our face with a washcloth or a paper towel. Or your hands it doesn't really matter. And we just want to make sure that we do remove all of the toothpaste from the skin. Cool water will help keep the skin moisturized best and remove the product the best. It will lock in what we applied. And it's best to do this two to three times a week. We don't want to overcompensate but we don't want to leave it and be lazy about it. So two to three times a week. I'm Erin Hendley, and I just showed you an at home remedy to remove makeup from your pores.
