Hello, my name is Joi and I'm a makeup artiest in New York City, and today I'm going to talk to you about plucking hair around the lip. So, I'm going to actually be using just a pair of tweezers today and pretty much what you want to do when you're plucking the hairs around your lip, to start of you want to make sure that the area is very clean, of course, you want to make sure that your tweezers are very sharp and if you'd like, if you tend to be a little bit tender around this area, you can actually steam your face, just a little bit before, to kind of open up your pores. So, now to show you just kind of the, the technique of doing it, what you want to do is first of all you need to figure out which direction the hair is growing, likely if it's upper lip it's going to be growing down or out this way, so you'll hold your finger and then you'll actually take it grab the base of the hair and pull in the direction of the hair growth. So, you want to continue that motion all the way around, catching any hairs that you might see and this, tweezing tends to last a little bit longer than maybe if you shaved it, so maybe in a couple days you might have to redo it, but as you go on it should get a little bit easier for you. So, hopefully this helped you out and you all have a good day. Again, I'm Joi, bye.
