Hello there, my name is Jay Jones, Celebrity Peak Performance Coach and Fitness Minister. And today, we're going to explain a little bit, how you can build your chest with push-ups. Push-ups are one of the most fantastic and rudimentary exercises in the whole exercise pantheon. It's one of the best exercises you can do on your own, without any weights, without any assistance, and it is extremely portable, because all it needs, is you. So, we're going to talk a little about how the chest is built through the push-ups. First and foremost, the push-ups, the chest is the prime mover during an upper body push-up. You build your front part of the body, your chest is core by pushing away, and the back, about pulling things to you. So, we're going to work the chest by pushing our body weight away from the floor, fighting gravity, alright. We're going to breathe, proper breathing is very important and we're going to utilize not only our chest, but our arms, back and shoulders as well, so we're down. Your proper push-up, you want to go in through your nose, going down, breathe in and exhale, blowing yourself off the floor, one more time, in and exhale. Notice, my hands are just outside my shoulders, my elbows still come down, relatively close to my body, and we push up. We don't want the elbow to be flared out like this, because you're going to over-extend and hyper-extend your shoulders. So, we want to continue to keep the elbows in and breathe properly. We don't want this movement, no, no, no and we don't want this movement, no, no, no. Full range of motion, down, and up, good push-up. My name is Jay Jones, Celebrity Peak Performance Coach and Fitness Minister, and that is how the push-up can help build your chest.
