Hi, my name is Tim Trotter, and today I'm going to show you how you can use RCA cables with your iPhone to record audio. Now, one of the primary reasons you may want to dot this is if you've got a mixer board and you want to hook it in to your iPhone and record using a program like GarageBand for your iPhone. So, first we're going to need a couple of things to do that, we need a mixer board, we're going to need a pair of RCA audio and a stereo RCA to eighth inch adapter connector and of course an iPhone. So, next we're going to plug them in, take your RCA cables like so and then your other end of the RCA and then plug it ion to your iPhone. Now, that we've got all of our adapters plugged in, we've got GarageBand opened up here and we've opened it up in the recorder interface, which you can get to by clicking on instruments and hitting audio recorder, you can go ahead and hit the red button to record or hit this little jack option here on the left to get some options like input level, you can see a, my voice there or monitor or turn on some noise gate and then after that you're good to go and record. And there you have it a way that you can use your RCA cables to record using your iPhone and GarageBand. Hopefully, that helps you out in any home recording you do or any other ways that you may use that with RCA cables. Thanks for watching.
