Hi, my name is Terina Gillette and I'm a Professional Event Coordinator, and we're here today at the Christmas Place Inn located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. And today, we're going to learn all about how to put a flower arrangement together with a bow. What you need to complete this project is some beautiful ribbon that matches your centerpiece, some scissors and a chenille stem. And we're just quickly going to talk about how to make a bow. I'm just going to pull out some of your ribbon of choice, gather it together, this, but this ribbon is wide ribbon; but you can do this with any size. I'm just going to make a circle with it and twist it and make a loop. And you're going to twist again and you're going to repeat this process on the other side here and twist it again. And you're just going to continue making loops and twist just like this until you get the desired amount on each side. You do want to make sure that you count it and have it equal on each side. So that, the number is really up to you. You can do three loops, four loops, it depends on the size of the arrangement or what you're going to use your bow for. This particular arrangement is pretty full that we have right here in front of us, so we're not going to put too many on it. And then, you're just going to continue down and clip off your ribbon. Take your chenille stem and put it through. Now, at this point, you can take your chenille stem and you can tie it to some of the foliage that's in your arrangement, if you don't want it to be permanent you can glue it inside if you want to glue it. Or you can also put a pick on the end of your chenille stem and stick it into your flower arrangement. And you can get stick floral picks just at any store that has like a discount store or floral store. And we're just going to select the spot and we're just going to stick our bow right into our arrangement and then you're going to want to make sure that your bow doesn't cover up too much. You want your bow to be an accent to your arrangement. And then, if you also want to add some additional ribbon into your arrangement, just pull off a little bit and, and what I like to do is just cut a few pieces that are segments and add it into the arrangement. You can pick it and stick it in there if you want something that's a little more permanent. I like to change out my ribbon a lot in my arrangement. So, I just kind of tuck them in. And you just kind of go around your arrangement as such, like this here and continue this process all the way through until you get as much ribbon into your arrangement that you like. And that is how you make a beautiful arrangement with bows.
