Hey, I'm Skylar, and in the interest of science I'm going to show you what happens when you lock yourself out of your iPhone. I'm going to press my home button, slide to unlock and enter my pass code wrong. I'm going to do it again and I'm going to keep doing it again, again and again and eventually it's going to lock me out of my phone. It's disabled. Okay, so it tells me try again in one minute, but let's imagine that I've done it, you know four of five times, I just can not remember it and it's been completely disabled. And what do you do then? You're going to have to restore your phone,so connect it to iTunes with your sync cable. In iTunes, you'll see it on the left hand side, you can click on it and then you'll see the summery of the phone. You see version underneath and that's where you want to click restore. So you can click restore and it would reinstall the software of the phone, erasing everything that's on there and basically giving you a fresh start. If you've got some super duper security settings and it won't let you restore it you're going to have to do what's called a DFE restore. So in order to get it in to what's called recovery mode, hold then sleep wake button and the home button of your phone for eight seconds, you'll see the screen go black, let go of your sleep wake button immediately, but hold the home button down. In iTunes it's says, it's direct, it's detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore this iPhone before it can used with iTunes, click okay and then click restore. It's going to warn you that it's going to completely erase everything and then give you the option to restore and update, click restore and update, and that's it, completely done. Thanks for watching. I'm Skylar.
