I'm Di-Anne Di Re, your public communication coach and trainer. Today, I'm going to teach you how to get people to like your brands on a Facebook profile. Let's face it, it seems that Facebook is here to stay, so let's display our brand for the world to see. It is very important that our profile on Facebook showcases our brand in an effective way. There are four components to a Facebook profile, and they are, number one, a logo or professional picture. A logo or professional picture is the first element of your brand that people see. And remember, that first impression is everything, so make sure that it's professional and consistent with your brand. Number two, a tagline. A tagline should describe your brand. For example, company, media resources enterprise. The tagline, communicating effectively. Number three, contact information. Your contact information keeps your brand consistent. Also, make sure that you include the contact information in your profile so people know how to get a hold of you. Your email, your email signature is a tool that helps introduce and establish your brand. Number four, bio. A bio should be no more than two paragraphs. Now, there are five components of a good bio. Number one, write it in third person. Number two, site relevant experiences. List facts and no wishes. Number three, write tight, don't be wordy. Number four, add a hook, a subtle call to action. And number five, add one to two quotes. Now that you know how to build an effective profile, people will be aware of what your brand is all about.
