Hello everyone, my name is Anders, and today we're going to talk about Google Chrome's search prompts and how to disable them. Now I have a new tab open here in Chrome and I am going to search something and watch what happens as I search. What if I wanted to learn more about Angry Birds, I'll type in Angry Birds. Now it's preloaded my Google search on the main display for Google Chrome right down here and it's already suggesting other searches that I could make. Now say I don't want it to do that or maybe that's distracting for me, maybe I just don't like what it's coming up with etc., we're going to go to our wrench button over on the right side here, click that and then we're going to click on settings. Once you've gotten to your settings, you're going to scroll down. You will see a setting under search which says enable instant for faster searching. You're going to uncheck this. Continue scrolling down until you find your privacy. Now under privacy you want to make sure that use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar is unchecked. It is in this case so I think we're pretty good to go here. Now we can just exit out of our settings. Now when you open a new tab and you start searching, the only thing that's going to pop up is your history and the ability to just search YouTube immediately on Google search in this case, because I searched YouTube that's what's coming up. But you'll notice that on the main display of Google Chrome, it's not just coming up with the Google search predictive service that it was before. My name is Anders and today we talked about removing predictive search in Google Chrome.
