The number one asked question would be what are your strengths and weaknesses? A lot of people fear that question because of the weakness aspect. I'm Charles Galbreath, empowerment speaker and human resource professional. I want to share with you some ways to spin the negative traits question or the answer that you have in your interview. First of all Don't fear having negative traits. For every person who have strengths you must have weakness. So our goal is to strengthen our weakness. So that's how we spin our negativity or our negative traits within our interview. For every negative trait that you might offer make sure that you have a strength that couples that. So if you are a poor communicator it's very important that you have thought about some of the organizations, some of the methods, some of the techniques that you can take. Or that you have access to to strengthen that poor communication skill. Another aspect when it comes to spinning negative traits, you want to make sure that you are working on that skill. That's a wonderful statement to add. Whenever you have a negative trait that you offer remind the interviewer that that's something that you are aware of. And it's something that you are working on. That's one of the aspects that invites teamwork. Showcase how you can bring in another team player in the presence of that weakness to showcase that individual strength and what you've actually done is facilitated collaboration and teamwork. So that's another way that you can spin a negative trait. Using that negative trait to showcase another team member's strength. So whenever you are faced with that question what are your strengths and weakness, no longer fear it. Embrace the fact that we all have weaknesses. But remember that we all have strengths. Have a wonderful day.
