Hi, my name is Alex Cecilio, and I'm going to show you how to make a negative in Illustrator. So here's my image, and you're going to want to make sure that your contrast and color is really really high so like for example if you're going to make a negative I recommend it be black and white. You can do it with color, but I would then again just recommend doing it in black and white so, and then upping your contrast so that it's basically black and white and that's it and you can have a little bit of gray but best to be black and white. So go to your selection tool which is at the top on the left, draw a square over your entire image and then you're going to want to go to edit, edit colors and invert colors and that is going to give you your negative inverted colors. My name is Alex, and this is how you make a negative in Illustrator. Thank you.
