Hi, I'm Sabrina Moxie with Body Lingo and we're here at Body Lingo Dance Fitness Studio in South Pasadena, California. Today, I'm going to show you how to do the hip-hop stomp. It's a simple eight count that could really lead you into a lot of other movements anytime you're on the dance floor or if you're putting together a choreographed move with some friends or your dance team. So hip-hop stomp has variations that are just kicks in a certain time pattern. Today, I have Allie here who is an instructor at Body Lingo Studio and she is going to help me demonstrate some hip-hop stomp. So it starts with a kick and a jump, kick and a jump, double kick, jump, double kick, jump. That's an eight count. So we'll do it again and I'll count for you. We've got one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Once again, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. We're going to put that together quickly, and as you're counting, don't keep your arms by your side, allow them to be free, allow them to move. That's what's going to give you your style and your definition to the hip-hop stomp. Here we go, five, six, seven, eight and one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Enjoy your hip-hop stomp, Have fun with it, work it into your choreographed routines for you and your friends. I'm Sabrina Moxie with Body Lingo. For more information, visit www.bodylingo.org.
