Hello, my name is Adam Bates and I'm with Insurance Services of America. Today, I'm going to talk about the benefits of business travel insurance. If you've ever had an employee stranded overseas or lost a ticket or in a foreign hospital, then you know the value of business travel insurance. If you have employees frequently traveling, business travel insurance offsets medical expenses by supplementing your group health insurance policy with travel benefits. Your group travel insurance and business travel insurance provides protection for your employees while they are in foreign countries, on the road or in the airport. Business travel insurance helps replace lost items such as luggage, important business documents, passports and travel documents. It also covers medical expenses if any of your employees became ill and ended up in the hospital or had to see a doctor. Business travel insurance also covers foreign employees coming to the US in case they needed to see a doctor. The most foreign based employees do not have private health insurance so it's highly highly valuable to have business travel insurance for those specific needs. You can buy it on a per trip basis if you have a specific group traveling or if you have employees traveling throughout the year, then a blanket policy will cover your entire company for the entire year.
