Hi, I'm Stephanie Prosenjak from Cherry Creek Dance and I'm here to give you a few tips on how to gain confidence and self esteem in cheerleading. The most important thing is to get yourself into dance, gymnastics and cheerleading classes. Then, you must practice, practice, practice. So, that means everyday practicing your technique, your stretching and your strengthening. Next, once you're on a team, you want to surround yourself with positive people. People that believe in what you're doing and you must believe in yourself. If you don't believe in yourself, no one else will. Also, try to find a mentor, someone else on your team that has more experience or go to your coach for a few tips.
