Hi. My name is Alex Cecilio. I'm a graphic artist. I'm going to show you how to cut an image in to squares in Adobe Illustrator. So the first thing I'm going to do is I have my image here and I'm going to go over to the shape tool under the type tool. And it doesn't really matter what color it is. So I'm going to use white. And I'm going to drag a square across my entire image. Then I'm going to click it, I'm going to right click it and I'm going to select make compound path. And then I'm going to go to object, path and split in to grid. And depending on how many images you want it broken up to, I'm going to do three and three. And if you click preview you can see, say OK. So now you've got your grid over your image. And now what you're going to do is you're actually going to select all of it so draw a square across the entire image and make sure your selection tool is selected and not the direct selection tool, the black one. And then you're going to right click once you've got all of it selected and you're going to say make clipping mask and there you've got your object divided in to four pieces, or sorry in to squares. My name is Alex and this is how you divide an image in to squares in Illustrator. Thank you.
