Hi, I'm Sifu Keith Mazza of Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu Academy in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. And right now, we're going to demonstrate how to deflect attacks. So, first, I'm going to have Michelle demonstrate of what techniques we're going to go through. "Now, Michelle deflect a straight punch." Okay, once again, slow. She identifies the force, she's at proximal, pushes out of the way, use a chain style to lift the arm and follow it up with a double tap to keep him off balance. "Demonstrate once again fast please." Good. Now Michelle deflect the kick. "One more time please slow." She identifies the force, redirect the kick into the proximal side, then she attacks his leg for balance, follow up with two punches in the elbow to finish. "One more time fast please." Good. This was deflecting attacks; once again, I'm Sifu Keith Mazza of the Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu Academy.
