Hi, my name is Alex Cecilio. I'm a Graphic Artist, and I'm going to show you how to draw a person batting in Illustrator. So, the first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to draw a circle with the ellipse tool. Okay. And you're going to hold down shift and just click and drag and I'm actually going to have that be filled in instead of stroke. And what that means is that instead of having it via stroke line and have it just simply be outlined, it's going to be filled in completely. Alright. So, next step would be to use the pen tool and make a curve line and it's, it should be pretty curved 'cause when you're batting, your back is pretty bent. So, let's fix that a little bit. And I'm just going to move this anchor point a little bit. Alright. So, and you can change the thickness of this line up in the top left corner at stroke. And I'm going to make it 70 points. And I'm going to draw his arms just by using the pen tool. And actually, you can just double this; so, just hold down option and drag it, just like that. And then, you can rotate it a little bit so that it's a little bit more realistic. Then, I'm going to draw his legs. Actually, I'm going to delete a little bit of this curve. Okay. Actually, in this case, I'm going to use the, our eraser tool. Okay. And then, you can go back with the pen tool and this is pretty much just your basic stick figure. Okay. And then, you got that leg and then, you can just copy and paste this leg, pretty much or, hold down option, drag it and you can just rotate it a little bit. And then, I'm going to draw the bat. Now, this, this part can be a little tricky. So, go, you go over to the shape tool and you hold down and select the rounded rectangle tool and this is just going to give you a rounded rectangle and you fill that in. And then, if you wanted it to look more like a bat, you can just, pretty much just drag these base two points down. It could be, and then, if you want to get really detailed, you can just add like a circle in the bottom or even just another rounded, just like that. And then, we'll just shrink this up a little bit so it's not too big, we just want it the same size as our guy. Just make sure you group all of it. And actually, just to avoid this problem, just go to object, group so that it becomes one object, shrink it up just a little bit so it's not too big and then, just rotate it. And that's how you draw a person, a stick figure batting in Illustrator. My name is Alex, and thank you for watching.
