Hi, my name is Alex Cecilio. I'm a Graphic Artist, and I'm going to show you how to divide paths in Illustrator. So, I'm going to start off by using the pen tool because it's got, it's what leads a path. So, I'm going to draw a shape that has a crazy path. Just like quickly we do that. Okay. Now, suppose after you do that, you, you say, I don't really like how this looks. I'm going to div, hmm, I, I want this path to be different. You can select this button up here which is the cut path at selected anchor points tool and so, you can cut a path by selecting the anchor point and it'll delete it immediately. So, for example, I just click that little anchor point and it got rid of that, that path as with this one. And this basically fills in and connects the next points. So, suppose I want it to look a little bit more bulky. You can cut your paths so that it just becomes one solid shape. And then, you can just trim the shape so that it looks more like what you're looking for. I'm Alex Cecilio and this is how you divide paths in Illustrator. Thank you very much.
