Hi, my name is Alex Cecilio. I'm a Graphic Artist and I'm going to show you how to do a wire in Illustrator. And there's, there's a couple of ways you can draw a wire and it's actually a striped wire. And the first way I'm going to show you is to use the line tool. So, what you're going to want to do is first go into your tool box and select the line segment tool. And I'm going to draw just a straight across line like that. And what I have selected here is your stroke line should be at 20 or you know, something fixed so that way you can actually see the pattern. But, what you're going to want to do is select this particular, it's the outline box which is, it'll color the line 'cause if you, if you put the pattern here, it'll disappear and you won't really have your pattern. And so, you're just going to want to make that that's selected and that is on the right option. And like I said, you're going to want like a, a thick line. And to get the pattern, you go into this little window up here and it's the, it's got this little option on the right hand corner on the top. You can go down to open swatch library and you can go into patterns basic graphics and then, lines and then that will show you this window right here and it will give you a series of line patterns and you can really choose from a bunch of them. And that's just like using a line tool. And that is how you make a line wire in Illustrator. My name is Alexandra Cecilio, and thank you very much for watching this.
