Hi, my name is Christina Chiu, I'm a computer web specialist, and today I'm going to show you how to connect to MySQL using JavaScript. Unfortunately, that is impossible to do, because JavaScrit is client side language, and MySQL is for the service side. And they can't really connect. The only thing that connects to a MySQL actually, is using PHP. So, to do that, you just need to create a PHP file. And you can actually create an index file, PHP file, which is similar to index style HTML. The only difference is that it has PHP functions. So, you can open a PHP in your Text Editor and then, to connect to the MySQL using PHP. This has a PHP syntax on the top and a HTML on the bottom. So, PHP $ Link equals MySQL, connect local host, put the name of your host, that you're using. MySQL user or your user name for your date base. And MySQL password, for the name of your data base password. So, there you go, that is how you connect to MySQL. Thank you so much for your time, my name is Christina Chiu.
