Hi, I'm Angharad Jones with The Urban Craft Center in Santa Monica, California and I'm here to show you how to create a floating centerpiece with a candle and sunflowers. So we're going to go fairly simple and small on this. I've just got this glass vase or big candle holder depending on how you look at it and I filled it sort of two thirds of the way with some water and I'm going to use fake flowers but you could easily use fresh flowers the day of your event or fruit or you know pretty glass bubbles, whatever that you think would look nice in the bottom of your vase and I'm just going to put a couple of these in here, let them get a little waterlogged and place them in a way that I think is pretty and then I'm going to take my floating candle. I looked for one that is wide and low so that it will float for a while and not tip over and I'm just going to float it in on top. So there you go, a floating candle centerpiece with a flower inside.
