Hi, I'm Angharad Jones from The Urban Craft Center in Santa Monica, California here to talk about marbling candles. We're going to make a container candle and I'm starting with two colors. Marbling is the effect of two colors mixing together but not to the point where they merge and become one color. So, you can still see both colors very distinctly in the finished candle. So I'm starting, I've melted some white wax, and I've pulled some of it and have colored it with a little bit of a crayon so it's got a red tone and that's nice and melted and I'm going to pour it at the same time that I pour the white, trying not to move it as I go so that they end up next to each other instead of mixing into each other. So I'm going to pour them both at the same time and hopefully you can see the swirl kind of happening and then before it gets too solidified I'm going to take a pre-waxed wick with a wick tag on the bottom and I'm going to just place it in and let it balance and I'm going to let the whole thing set up. So once it dries, you'll get a much better look at the actual marbling of the two colors as in this candle. I'm Angharad Jones at The Urban Craft Center in Santa Monica, California. Happy crafting.
