Hi, I'm Angharad Jones from The Urban Craft Center in Santa Monica, California, and I'm here to talk about how to burn your candles correctly. Believe it or not, there is a right way to burn your candles. Ideally when you light your candle you'll have enough time to let it burn until the whole top surface is melted. If you do that especially if you do it every time, you'll find that your candle is going to melt down and use all the wax. If you blow it out before it's melted all the way across the top it's called tunneling which is create this tunnel down the middle of your candle and it means that the rest of your wax later on when you burn it again might slouch into your flame or gut your candle out because it's going to melt too much wax and fill the inside. So this is a proper way to burn your candle is to let it burn for as long as it takes to melt the whole top of the candle into wax. So, this is Angharad Jones in The Urban Craft Center in Santa Monica, California. Happy crafting.
