Hi, this is Bryn Taylor with The Re-Stylist. Today, we're going to answer the question, "Are boots appropriate for a business casual atmosphere?" A business casual dress code tends to be less buttoned up than a formal one, but you still have to remain polished and grownup-looking. So, when it comes to boots, you can absolutely wear that, but you have to keep a few things in mind first. First, the boots have to be in really good condition. You can't have any visible scuff marks, the heel can't be coming off. Anything that shows any distressing is going to make you appear sloppy in the workplace. So, here's an example of a great boot that you can wear in a business casual workplace. It's polished, no scuff marks, in great condition, and it's a really classic style. It goes up to just under the knee, has a little bit of a heel, and is in a classic chocolate color. This is something you could wear with tights and a skirt, or a dress, or even over a pair of tighter pants. And, if you'd like to go for more of a lower boot, this is also something can work. Again, a classic style, just a little bit of detail, and an elegant heel. So, in summary, boots will definitely work in a business casual environment. Just make sure to leave your rain boots, your snow boots, and your UGG boots at home, and focus on more classic styles that are in really great condition. This is Bryn Taylor with The Re-Stylist. Thanks for tuning in.
