Hi. My name is Brian. I'm a web and graphics specialist, and this is a tutorial on Tumblr GIF thumbnails in a post. So I have my Tumblr blog open right here. Now if you're logged into your Tumblr account, you should see two buttons in the top right hand corner of your blog. One is 'customize' and one is 'dashboard'. I'm going to click on the dashboard button, so I can make a post onto my blog. In order to put a GIF file in a post, I'm going to create a text post. By clicking on the text button in this row right there. I'll just name this 'My GIF Photo' and then, within my content area, you'll notice right above that box in the top right corner, you'll see a little link that says 'upload photo'. This is where you can upload whatever photo you want, whether it be a GIF or a JPEG, really anything that is an image you can put into your Tumblr post. So I'm going to click on that, and then I'm going to select a GIF, and that should automatically show up in your post, so now let's scroll down, click 'create post', and now I see that post in my dashboard, and let's just go look at it on my blog. Okay. And there it is. Now I have a post with a GIF photo inside of it. So that's how you do it. That is how you add a GIF thumbnail in a post on Tumblr. My name is Brian, and thanks for watching.
