Hi. I'm Rosalie and I'm an artist and I'm going to show you how to draw a family tree chart. So, a family tree is a diagram that shows the people that you're related to and in relation to yourself. So, I'm going to do rectangles, rectangular like boxes to put the names in. So, starting at the bottom, this would be you. OK. And you can do just lines or you could can make it look like a tree. I'm going to make it look like a tree and have like the branches coming to the sides. But you can just use lines too. And so that's you. And then I'm drawing in some more rectangles. This is your mom, and let's say this is your dad over here. So, those are your two parents. They came together to make you. And then you can fork off, again you can just use lines or you can fork off branches, so it really is like a tree. And I'm putting two branches on top of each of that. and then I'm putting rectangles on those. And do the same here. You want to keep it kind of organized if you can and clear. And so this would be, in here would be the name of your paternal grandfather. This is your father's parents here. So, and then this would be your paternal, paternal grandmother. Paternal just means o your father. So, that's his parents. And then over here you would put your maternal, maternal means of your mother, maternal grandmother. That's, these are your mom's parents. And then you would put your maternal grandfather. That's your mother's father in here. And there's all different kinds of ways to do this because families have all different permutations. But this is a simple way to draw a family tree chart.
