Hi, I'm Tina Gill with Worthwhile Style, and today I'm going to tell you how to dress for the slimming effect. If you're a plus size woman you want to know how to make your body look the best that it absolutely can. So first and foremost, let's start with this jacket here. The thing that I love about this is that it has this great princess seaming down the front of it. What that's going to do, it's going to create this vertical line down your body. It also comes here, in on the side it's structured. Structured is the best way to go when you're shopping for a jacket. Another thing that's great about this is that it has two buttons here so it's going to kind of hold you in here at the tummy and it creates this nice V neck here which is great for opening up the frame of your face. So I love a great structured jacket. It has a little poof to the sleeve here so it's going to create a little bit more volume up top and then it's going to draw you in here at the smallest part of your body. It's paired with a wide legged pair of trousers and that is a great way to make your legs appear longer and leaner, wide leg is the way to go with this. So, if you plan on wearing a jacket like this, you can do it two ways, you can button it up and just have a little pop of the color or you can unbutton it and pop a belt here, right at the center. If you're a curvy woman and the smallest part of your body is right here at your waist, that's what you want to accentuate and that's what you want to show off. So by adding a belt here at the smallest part of your waist, it creates a great focal point and then the rest of the fabric just kind of floats away from the body. So it's a great way to add a slimming effect to any outfit. As you can see, there's great options for you seaming down the front, buttoning in the middle, adding accessories such as this belt and a wide legged trouser. All of these items are going to add a great slimming effect to any outfit you wear. I'm Tina Gill with Worthwhile Style. Thanks for watching.
