Hi, I'm Jae from, and I'm here at Contagious Boutique to show you how to stop your swimsuit from fading. So, honestly, the best way to stop your swimsuit from fading is to choose a lighter colored swimsuit in the first place. But, because black is so slimming, and such a popular choice for swimsuits, if you want to keep it from fading, you're going to need to take a few steps. Now first, choosing a swimsuit that has a bit of a pattern will disperse some of the fading so it's less noticeable. If you choose an all black suit, you're going to want to launder it properly. Laundering your swimsuit with harsh soaps is going to make it fade out faster. So, try putting it through the delicate cycle with soap specially made for babies or delicate garments. Another thing you can do to stop it from fading is to hang it to dry. Putting your swimsuit through the dryer will weaken the fibers and take some of the color out of it. And so, your swimsuit won't last as longer. The last thing you can do is to keep your swimsuit out of chlorine. If you have the opportunity to swim in freshwater or saltwater, it'll generally be better on the suit and the construction of the suit than swimming in chlorine, because the chemicals can weaken the fibers and fade out your suit. And, that's how to stop your suit from fading. I'm Jae from, and we'll see you next time.
