Hi, I'm Jeremy Manning, Director of Personal Training at Elevation Fitness and the founder of Uplift Project. Today we'll be covering limbering exercises for drumming. So first we'll do a little stretch, nice and easy, basic stretch. What you want to do is grab the index finger with your thumb, cover your thumb with your middle finger and flex the wrist, keep it nice straight elbow, bringing your fingers towards your torso, hold for 20 seconds. You'll feel a little bit of tension in the top of the forearm, like I said hold for 20 to 30 seconds and relax. And next we'll be covering a limbering exercise of the wrist for drummers which is a nice simple rotating motion. What you want to do is rotate your palm facing up, bring your fingers towards your torso and all the way back around, palm facing up, fingers towards your torso, all the way around. Try to keep your elbow staticked, don't let it move in and out, keep it nice and easy, palm up, fingers to the chest and all the way around, nice easy motion. I'm Jeremy Manning, Director of Personal Training at Elevation Fitness and that was limbering exercises for drummers.
