Hi, I'm Jeremy Manning, Director of Personal Training at Elevation Fitness and the founder of Uplift Project. Today we're going to be doing two basic jump rope tricks. Obviously to do this you're going to need a jump rope. The first one is going to be running man, the second one is the single leg hop. The first one just like it sounds you're going to be doing a running man running in place while jumping rope. You want to start off, two feet together, your basic jump, start to separate and pick up your speed, knees up high, chest up, looking forward, shoulder back, keeping your core engaged, keeping your core engaged, nice and easy. So next we're going to do a single leg hop nice and easy and we're going to start off both feet together. Once you get the rhythm, change to your right foot, hop for ten, switch to your left. And you can change it up, ten and ten, five and five, as many reps as you want, you can do it quick, do it short.
