Hello this is Willy McNeely from Strong Gym and today I'm going to talk to you about how to stretch for obese people. Usually the best type of exercises and most optimal ones for obese people are ones that help increase the range of motion or are more dynamic flexibility, mobility type exercises in nature. I'll show you a series of exercises you can perform to help increase your mobility and flexibility. The first exercise I'll show you to perform is neck circles. Make sure you get both directions when you're doing this exercise, shoulder rolls, arm circles. You can also do this exercise with your palms facing up or pronated and also make bigger circles. Remember to go backwards too, hip circles, knee circles, good mornings. Other exercises we can perform are some exercises with resistance bands to help stretch, to stretch out just because they're easier to get in a lot of these movements compared to having to lay on the floor or do any other type of action. The first one I'll show you is just tractioning your shoulder out. This exercise will also help stretch out your lats and chest. Exercises like these are a lot safer alternatives and easier alternatives just because the positions are plain just easier to get into and are going to be more of an optimal choice for obese people.
