This is my home away from home. When I can't go shopping at Union Square, at the farmer's market near my home because of the weather, or whenever I'm working at Food Network or Cooking Channel, I'm here literally every day. So, it's very easy for me to pick up all the best of the local farms and some of the best purveyors in the city and in the surrounding area right here at Chelsea Market. Okay, this is probably my most shopped store in all of Manhattan. They don't sell shoes or clothes or cosmetics, they sell Italian import foods. They're giving the value to you. It's the best bargain for anyone who is obsessed with Italian ingredients, period. It's a great tip if you come to a marketplace, it's a great place, if you're a traveler especially, to buy affordable food. You know, you can get great sandwiches and really taste what the locals are cooking and eating, and you get it at a great price because you're in a market, you're not in a fancy restaurant. This is where I come to get insanely delicious jams, jellies, condiments. You can buy things in small bits and pieces. This is another terrific find, Sarabeth's. Sarabeth's is amazing, of course, for all of her baked goods. This is the knife sharpening station every Wednesday and Saturday, you get your dull blades sharpened. Manhattan Fruit Exchange, this is a great place to come to get great prices on produce, and you know that it's locally grown, organically, good quality, great seasonal ingredients. So, Chelsea Market is not only where I love to buy a lot of food, it's also where I buy a lot of my greeting cards at this fantastic book store. This guy has the cleverest collection of cards I've ever seen. Okay, so this is People's Pops, and today's flavors are kind of mind blowing. This is strawberry rose. I've never tried that before, it's new for me. It's my favorite. It's your favorite. It's my favorite. It's her favorite. She makes them, she would know. Lucy's whey, amazing, American Artisanal cheeses. The Lobster Place ships anywhere. If I'm in upstate New York for a long time, I can still get fresh seafood, and they have an enormous selection of sustainable seafood and a really knowledgeable staff, and I have to pick up an order I called in earlier, so take a look around while I'm doing it. I just got my fresh seafood for tonight. Up here is something weird, whenever you're making seafood, if you want a nice crust on it, sprinkle Wondra across the top of it, and you put the Wondra side down first in the pan and it gets a nice crust, so good, delicious. Amy's Bread is right over there and that's where I get brioche and white bread every week, and then this, Dixon's Farmstand Meats, this is the meat that's used at Fatty Q, Fatty Barbecue, by my dear friend, Zach. It's local, it's natural and it's just meatier than your average meat. Is Dave here today? Where's Dave? No, he's here. Is that Dave? Hi Dave, we're officially supposed to stop by and say, hello. We just finished down at Fatty Q. Yeah, I heard that. I just had some of the brisket, amazing. Very good, thank you. Very delicious. And you had a burger downtown, I hear? We had everything. We had brisket, burger, chicken, you name it, we had it. It's really great, if you are a New Yorker, to start on one side and shop your way through, and if you're a tourist, you stop on one side and you eat your way through. It's really fun. The bad part about the People's Pop is when the pop is all gone.
