How to Make Perler Bead Ornaments
Kate Blocher

This Christmas, decorate your tree with nostalgic Pac-Man ornaments in two different shapes: Pac-Man and colorful ghosts. It's a throwback to the 80s that you and your kids will enjoy, though they might not believe that video game characters used to look like that!

Carefully place a sheet of wax paper over the beads. This will protect your iron from the melting beads.

Iron

Preheat your iron on a non-steam, medium-heat setting. Gently iron beads until they fuse together, usually about ten seconds. Check if the beads have melted; if they haven't, iron for an additional five seconds.

Once the beads have cooled, peel the wax paper off to reveal your complete Pac-Man character.

Hang with Ribbon

String ribbon through one of the top beads to hang your character ornament. You may need to use a needle to poke through if the hole melted together.
