Nissan Altima Torque Specs


Developed and manufactured by the Nissan Motor Company, the Altima was first released in the United States in 1993. A competitor to Honda's Accord and Toyota's Camry, the Altima was available for purchase in coupe and sedan styles, and with a hybrid engine. The most recent version of the Altima was the 2011 series, with torque specifications varying over four models.

2.5 and 2.5 S Coupe and Sedan Models

  • The 2.5 and 2.5 S model Altimas were both outfitted with a 2.5-liter, 16-valve, four-cylinder engine capable of producing 180 ft.-lb. of torque at 3,900 rpm.

3.5 SR Coupe and Sedan Model

  • The 3.5 SR model Altima had a 3.5-liter, 24-valve, V6 engine capable of 258 ft.-lb. of torque at 4,400 rpm.

Hybrid Model

  • The hybrid Altima model had a 2.5-liter, 16-valve, four-cylinder engine that produced 162 ft.-lb. of torque between 2,800 and 4,800 rpm.
