Great Christmas Gift Ideas for Boys
Boys, no matter their age, are not difficult to buy for if you know their interests and what they already have. If you are not the boy's parent, calling his mother or father is your best bet to ensure that your Christmas gift to him will be a desired one.

Games

Video games are popular gifts for boys. Whether a boy plays games on the computer, or uses a game console such as the Wii, he may have a list of games that he would enjoy playing. Be sure that the game you are purchasing is age appropriate.
Board games are another option, and also will depend on age and the interests of the boy that you are purchasing for. Perhaps he likes strategy games or trivia ones.
Some boys prefer card games. A deck or two of cards can be packaged with notepads and pens, as well as a cribbage board and a book of solitaire game instructions.
Old Stand-bys
-
Young boys still like to play out in the yard with trucks and cars. It matters not if they are small or large vehicles, they will find a use for them. They will still play with army men, as well as cowboy and Indian figures.
Marbles are another option for boys. Give them an assortment of colors and sizes, and instructions on how to play. Provide them with a storage container larger than what they need for the marbles you are giving them, because they will win more and need the extra space.
Old and New
-
Trading cards make perfect gifts for many boys. Old sports cards often can be found at yard sales or estate sales, and newer ones can be found in many stores. An album with the cards will be desirable, but don't open the trading card packages. Leave that up to the boy. There are other types of trading cards as well.
Some boys are still interested in comic books. While some boys will want older ones, many will prefer the new ones on the market.
