Video Adapter Driver Problems

If your computer's video adapter driver is not compatible with Internet Explorer, some images on the Web may not be displayed properly. You may see text overlapping and image or receive a script error. You can fix these problems by disabling some of the extra graphics functionality in Internet Explorer, such as smooth scrolling. Changing your monitor's screen resolution and removing graphics accelerator problems may help too.
Hard Drive Space

You may have problems viewing images on a website in Internet Explorer if you do not have enough free space on your hard drive. Try clearing out your temporary Internet files and removing old files to free up some hard drive space. Clearing out Internet Explorer's cache may also help as sometimes the cache is too large.

Images may not show on a Web page due to the "Show Pictures" setting being turned off. In the "Advanced Tab" of the Internet Options dialog, make sure that the "Show Pictures" is checked to ensure that pictures are displayed on websites.
