Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is surrounded by three major rivers: the Allegheny, the Monongahela and the Ohio rivers. As a result, river cruises remain an excellent way for Pittsburgh's more than four million annual tourists, as well as its 316,000 residents to view the historic city.

  1. The Gateway Clipper Fleet

    • The Gateway Clipper Fleet offers five boats that depart from Station Square on the Monongahela River. Cruises include a variety of options, such as lunch, dinner and entertainment-filled journeys. Specialty cruises include a murder mystery dinner, a Saturday family picnic, and a macaroni and magic cruise. The fleet also features a one-hour sightseeing excursion for tourists looking simply to explore the city. Cruises operate year-round and sail on all three rivers surrounding Pittsburgh.

The one-hour tour departs from Station Square before traveling around the downtown region and into one of the city's surrounding rivers. The tour operates on a daily basis between April and October, but only on weekends during November.
