Fairy Costume Makeup Ideas
Mystical characters, such as fairies, often inspire fantasy concepts to translate into artistic makeup ideas. These fairies, which different metaphysical or supernatural spirits depict, are magical looking creatures. Fairies, such as the garden, woodland or ice, have distinct makeup features to enhance the mystical character you create. These mystical characters, which appear in cold climates, have fair skin. Use a makeup foundation to create the white snow effect. Makeup manufacturers like NARS and MAC make iridescent or glittering makeup in shades of blue, white or purple. Use these color tones when creating the ice fairy look. Add theatrical makeup such as glittering silver sequins by making a specific pattern along the eyebrows or extending a sequin eyelash pattern on the cheekbone. Take a pattern from your costume, and recreate it with your makeup. Incorporate an opaque lipstick like such as a pale white.
