Bright Colors

Nail polish is meant to be experimented with, so why shy away from bright colors? Every other nail can be painted in the colors of your favorite sports team. Or each nail can represent a different color of the rainbow. Red and green can be used for Christmas; pinks, greens and teals can be used for spring. You can even paint every nail a different color to match each outfit you wear.
Flowers

Though flowers may sound difficult to paint on a fingernail, they aren’t terribly challenging. When flowers are painted on nails, all of the nails are painted one color, and then the thumb or a finger on each hand is adorned with a tiny flower. The flower is made by making one dot of color in the center of the nail, and making a circle of different colored dots around the middle one. It is a cute, dainty look that is fast and easy to do.

Nails can be adorned with creative designs to make them stand out. The nails are all painted one color, such as black or dark purple, and then designs are painted on top in bright blue, green, pink or even white. Polka dots, stripes, or just squiggly “confetti” lines can be used, and the designs don’t have to be perfect. They will only take a few minutes, and they’re sure to make your ordinary nails extraordinary.
Funky French Manicure

A French manicure may not sound like a funky idea, but it is if you use new and different designs. Instead of the traditional nude or pink polish with a white tip, your nails are painted in a bright color and the nail tip is painted in a completely different color. It is easier to paint a lighter color on the nail and tip the nail in a darker color, but it can be done both ways.
